DC Privacy Statement

This Privacy Statement explains how Data Cohorts and its affiliates (collectively, “DC” or “we”) processes personal data to perform benchmarking, research, development or related activities, in connection with certain of our proprietary data- and analytics-driven tools and solutions, including those described at https://www.datacohorts.com/services (the “solution and services”). This Privacy Statement supplements any notice you may receive from a client to which DC is providing professional services (for instance, your employer), and concerns only DC's use of information for its own purposes as described in this Privacy Statement. We may periodically change this Privacy Statement without prior notice, so please check back from time to time. This Privacy Statement was last updated on December 6, 2022.

In connection with the use of DC’s services and solutions by or on behalf of our clients, we may collect information about our clients’ personnel, either directly from the relevant client or via surveys or questionnaires or other information gathering tools supplied by the client or by DC. This information may include, without limitation, contact information, identification information such as ID number, phone numbers, demographic and other information such as technical information related to client personnel and their systems and devices, such as IP address information, account information, email addresses, browser telemetry (e.g., type, version), time stamps, and other personal and usage data.

In addition to performing services on behalf of DC clients, where agreed with our clients we may compile some of the information collected via the solutions into our own benchmarking and other databases, analyze the information for research, product development, or other business purposes, including within and across clients utilizing the solutions, and/or use the information to further develop, improve, and optimize solution usage, performance, features, and functionality. The information will be stripped of any unique identifiers that may have been collected as part of providing the solution (for example, name or email address), and DC will not seek to identify or re-identify individuals with such information in connection with any such activities.

DC uses this information on the basis of our legitimate interests for the purposes of benchmarking, research and/or development in connection with solutions, as described in this Privacy Statement. Our clients are not granted direct access to any of this information constituting your personal data but will only receive aggregated results, except that your usage data may be shared with our client (your employer) for the purpose of evaluating and optimizing the usage of the solution within the client’s organization. The information will otherwise only be shared externally where permitted by applicable law. We may, for example, share your personal data with our affiliates or service providers, such as IT infrastructure and technology providers, or in the event of the acquisition of the relevant DC affiliate by a third-party entity.

DC will implement safeguards to protect your information across DC's operations. Where required by law, we have put in place legal mechanisms designed to ensure adequate data protection of your personal data that is processed by DC affiliates and service providers.
